01 / In detail

The coat that grips.

Rough Finish is the starting point for plastering once panels or blocks are installed and the seams are taped. Mixed with water and trowelled onto the wetted substrate, it adheres strongly to Agroblox surfaces — and to most conventional masonry.

Its coarse texture locks in the finish coat while remaining fully breathable, letting the wall regulate moisture and temperature just like the blocks and panels it covers. Left exposed, it reads as an honest, textured mineral surface.

03 / Application

Wet the wall, work the coat.

01

Tape the seams

Apply 4–6″ plaster tape across all panel and block joints.

02

Mix with water

Rough Finish is mixed on site with water — nothing else.

03

Wet the substrate

Spray the wall with water so the coat bonds to a wet surface.

04

Trowel it on

Apply with a trowel; level and texture in the same pass.
